Welcome to week 2 of The Well’s Torah reading plan! Our Text for this week is Genesis 12-36!

You can find and download the Week 2 Read-Along Guide here and the Genesis 12-26 Reflection Page here!

New Tips

A fun way to use these resources is by attempting to use the icon method found in the Read-Along Guide to create your own notes first, and then go back to our version to see which notes were similar and which ones were different! Neither is necessarily “wrong” or “right”, but together they will highlight the variety we are gifted with when we study God’s Word in the context of community.

Reminders

The Read-Along Guide has notes, questions, literary elements and prayers written throughout it. This guide is not exhaustive but was created to assist you while you engage Scripture with the hopes of modeling what it looks like to do an in-depth study of a passage. Feel free to print off this guide and mark it up with your own observations and questions!

The Reflection Page is a short document that provides some basic questions, themes, and a prayer to assist you in your study of the passage. This resource was designed to give you a quick overview of the passage to help get you started! This version is especially helpful if you like to listen to the Scripture aloud on the YouVersion app.

Both guides were designed to be tools for you, but our main hope is that you will engage Scripture in a way that is best for you!  You can use these resources together, separate, or not at all, but we pray that you’ll be encouraged as you engage the grand narrative of the gospel!

For further study of the passage, we highly recommend The Bible Project and The ESV Study Bibleas well as our general bible-study guide called How to Let the Bible Read You.
